Houses of Parliament

Last year I was in London for my first time. I visited, as you can see in the photo, the Houses of Parliament and the Big Ben.

The Houses of Parliament are divided into two houses the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
The Queen is the third component of the legislature.
Parliament approves new laws and debate government policy and current issues.

Big Ben is the great bell in the clock tower overlooking Westminster. It has become one of the most prominent symbols of both London and England.
