Hi everybody,

In the picture i've posted you can see the church of Saint Mary and All Saints which is known for its crooked spire. The church is located in Chesterfield, a small market town, and this church is the largest one in Derbyshire.
The question is, what made the spire crooked? What did it happen? Well, there are lot of legends but the historians tell us that with the outbreak of the Black Death most of the workmen who were working in the construction of the church fell to the plague and the building was built by different unskilled craftsmen. This reason plus the atmospheric effects could damage the spire making it an interesting and special place to visit.
I also added a video with the explanation.
