Canterbury Cathedral

Hello everybody,

I haven't been in any English speaking country, so I can't describe any famouse place with details but I think that the place I chose is very intresting. I chose Canterbury Cathedral because is one of the oldest and most famous structures in England. Canterbury Cathedral has a very long history, it was one of the most important centres of pilgrimage in Medieval England.
This building was destroyed by high-explosive bomb in the Second World War and was rebuilt several years later.

The cathedral is the Regimental Church of the Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment.

I think that is an amazing place that I hope visit soon.
